Raul Castro, brother of Fidel and the current President of Cuba, has lifted the ban on owning personal computers. This is one of many retractions Raul has made since he took over the presidency from his brother in February. Internet access is still restricted to certain schools, workplaces and universities however. So while it's a step forward in some senses, Cuba still has a way to go yet.
