RV770 Pro to use 256mb DDR3 Unlike it's big brother, the RV770XT, the Pro version will be using only 256mb of DDR3 instead of the latest DDR iteration, numero 5.

Fudzilla is predicting a sub $200 price tag, so we can expect around £120 to be a common price in this part of the world. Not bad for a slightly cut down version of the latest GPU. The fact ATI plan to release this alongside the XT can only mean good things.

Could this be a much awaited end to the dominance of £400+ GPUs? Fingers crossed.
