During a video interview with Eurogamer, Activision's senior producer Noah Heller let slip that he thought Gearbox's Brothers in Arms was a "crappy game." He said that during the development of Call of Duty: World at War they didn't even look at the game, and that he didn't consider the upcoming title to be in the same league as COD. Games he said that they did compare to were Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Gears of War. A statement has since been released by Treyarch apologising for the comments and saying they have nothing but the utmost respect for the team at Gearbox.
