In the mid 90’s when PC and console gaming was beginning to become commonplace Microsoft began to develop gaming peripherals and they were all launched under the SideWinder brand name. The peripherals included gamepads, joysticks, wheels and more. In 2003 however, Microsoft announced that they would discontinue the entire SideWinder line due to lack of demand. This left some SideWinder fans missing it and most totally oblivious to the fact.
