Following on from the remake of the Secret of Monkey Island, the first game in the series initially released in 1993, LucastArts have today announced that as of Summer this year, they will be re-releasing the second game in the series, LeChuck's Revenge in a special edition, graphical updated version.

Co-Founder of the torrent search and often controversial website, The Pirate Bay, Peter Sunde has conducted an interview saying that while he does have some pretty hefty charges weighed against him, he's not letting them get him down. During 2009, online cybercrime apparently hit an all new high, with "revenue" from the practice totalling a massive $560m (£371m) in 2009 which is way up from $265m (£176m) in 2008. This information was recently unveiled in the annual report by the Internet Crime Complaint Center.

The Financial Times has stated that they believe Google has a 99.9% change of pulling out of China over the censorship and hacking fiasco that has taken place over the past few months. This is right off the back of China saying that there would be a crackdown on the company if it didn't censor its search results.

While Blu-Ray is planned as the next step for many looking to upgrade their entertainment centre, the price of the hardware and perhaps more so the films themselves is whats holding people back from making that purchase. Now Target has unveiled its pricing on a line of players that will see the price drop to around $70.

American developer Creat has announced their next project is almost ready for release, and its known as Wakeboard HD. Its priced at €14.99, the PlayStation 3 download and its "20 high-speed, water-filled, arcade levels" and is set for release in Europe on March 18, then North America on March 25.

The FCC organisation in the US has announced that it wants to roll out 100MBps broadband across the country, making it accessible to 100 million people. Also referring to devices like Google's Powermeter to "track and manage real-time [home] energy consumption."
