Conclusion
There are several parts of this case that make it look as though it’s taken heavy inspiration from the Antec P190 which is in the same size category. The large side fan, the cable management and large drive capacity all mirror the P190, although this case is more gamer friendly with the large window, aluminium chassis and LED fans.
It does however have more cooling, less weight with more features and compatibility (tool-less mounting, removable motherboard tray and Extend ATX room) which makes it a slightly better choice on paper. However the Antec’s build quality is a step above and the noise dampening panels put the thin aluminium walls of the Armor+ to shame, but the Antec was far too heavy.
It all come does to the price, the Antec P190 comes in at a hefty £240 with 1200w of PSU, while the Armor+ is a mere £150 and nearly every gamer has their own preferred power supply making Antec’s stock offering expensive.
This is a solid, well made case that’ll give you enough room to mount any component that you can think of with space to spare, combined with the cooling, this case is a winner.
