Box ‘n Bundle

The product arrives in a big, thick golden box with a wrap around it which has graphics on the front and details of the cooler specification on the back. This high quality package is a good first impression for the Triton 79, lets see if the quality continues.

After opening the lid of the package, there is a transparent piece of plastic allowing you to see the Asus and a small black box. Once the plastic is removed, the quality of this package is more obvious. Instead of protecting the cooler and accessories with just foam, Asus have gone that one step further and have applied black Velvet to the top of the foam to give the Tritons package that ‘Royal’ look- which undoubtedly, they have achieved.

Once I recovered from the "amazing" package of the Triton 79 Amazing, I removed the CPU cooler and its box full of accessories. Guess what guys… even the box of accessories isn’t standard; it’s a thick black box which is sealed with a magnetic flap. Inside the box there are:

• Mounting clips for Intel and AMD
• Four sexy golden nickel coated screws
• Small syringe of thermal paste with the words ‘Do Not Swallow’
• Multilingual manual
• Triton 79 Amazing sticker

These accessories are cut into position in the foam to protect them from any sort of damage; this is another quality feature.
