As you can see from the results, the Asus performs a lot better in both states when compared to the Z600 and the Stock Intel Cooler. This is even more obvious in the overclocked testing where the idle temperatures of the Triton is a full 5 degrees C lower than the Z600.

Cost

The Asus Triton 79 Amazing can be bought for around £50; this places it right in at the deep end. However those willing to empty their pockets should not be fazed by this price as this cooler is of superior quality to most cheaper alternatives.

Noise Levels

This product is very good in the noise sector. When getting right up close to the fan you can only just hear it. When sitting 3 foot away, the noise level could be desribed as almost silent, perhaps, mulnaz? [about time you used that phrase - Ed.]
