Conclusion

From this review, it’s clear to say that top-down format coolers are not out of the performance league by any standard. In fact, the Noctua NH-C12P has proven to be almost on par with the Xigmatek S1283 in thermal outputs. It’s also a very quiet cooler which shows the silencing methods put together by Noctua have clearly worked.

Unfortunately, what does let us down though is its lengthy installation procedure and high price tag, though the former complaint is understanable, given how sturdy the cooler was after installation was completed. To conclude, I’d thoroughly recommend the NH-C12P, it’s a cracking performer and one that’s definitely built to last; but beware the hefty price tag.
