For a CPU cooler, the box is actually quite impressive. It has a mat black finish across most of it, with a clear plastic window showing the cooler itself. There is also a large, close-up picture of the heatpipes and a short feature list.

The back of the box follows the same colour scheme and gives you a bit of information on the cooler. There is also a specification list and a picture of the cooler from the side, giving you a full view of what this beauty looks like in action.

On the sides of the box are "Special Features" lists with pictures to highlight the main plus points of this heatsink/fan combo.
Opening up the box you are greeted with the sight of a very nicely packed heatsink and fan. They are padded with foam which assures your cooler gets to you in perfect condition.

There are a few bits and bobs included with the NT06: mounting screws, a mounting plate and a rear panel fan controller.

A fan controller is always useful, especially with a fan that has a noise rating of over 40db. However, this fan controller dial is designed to be placed at the back of the PC in one of the card mounting slots. This, to me at least, seems pointless as this requires quite a lot of effort on the part of the person who is attempting to change their fan's speed, and will also most probably requite that the PC is moved. Front panel fan controllers are much more practical, and much more useful.
