Conclusion

While it might be a little bit expensive, the Uranus is a pretty nice product. It's got sleek looks, great eSATA speeds compared to a straight SATA setup and the internal drive is held in place well; while internal cabling is kept to a minimum. The only places the Uranus lets us down is on it's USB speeds - which is more USB 2.0's fault than the enclosure - and the stupid, fiddly screw driver. Other than that, it's a down right great enclosure and with it's interesting if not occasionally useful software bundle, it's well worth a look.

Pros Cons
Looks goods USB speeds poor in comparison to straight SATA
Good eSATA speeds compared to straight SATA A little expensive
Drive secured well, no internal cabling Fiddly screw driver
