From the first glance we are given a good impression of this Jetart product because of the colorful and informative packaging.
The front gives a clear view of the cooler itself and the included RAM sinks, and the back displays a good list of specifications and features to not only entice you into buying the cooler, but to also make sure that you are buying a cooler that fits on your card.
A Closer Look
Well taking the cooler out of the packaging was a bit of a mission really. I hate to knit pick, but I hate packaging held with metal rivets even more. Anyway, after I actually got the package open the cooler and RAM sinks seemed of very good quality. The GPU heatsink was of pure aluminum with a plastic cover to go around the fan, and a plastic slip to cover the base of block; this way the surface of the cooler that will be in contact with the GPU will not be marred or scratched during transit.
The RAM sinks also were of solid aluminum and came with little sticky patches for applying them to the card.
Pretty poor lapping on the heatsink contact point, but hopefully this shouldn't effect cooling too much...
Also in the package are the attachment screws, the mounting plates and a 3pin to 4pin converter and some rubber washers for the attachment screws.
As you can see from the above picture, the surface of the GPU cooler is relatively smooth. It is not as smooth as other coolers but it is still relatively smooth to the touch, and with a bit of polishing would come up very nicely.
