Testing
Unfortunately after attaching the cooler to this card, It became obvious to me that this card does not have an in built temperature sensor, so I was forced to come up with another way to test this cooler. Therefore I have decided to test the card’s overclocking ability with the stock cooler attached and with the VC2000 attached and compare them.
| Core Clock / MHZ | |
| Stock - Max OC | 370 |
| Jetart VC2000 - Max OC | 433 |
As you can see from the results I obtained the cooler obviously helps achieve a higher overclock, and therefore makes the card run more stable than the stock cooler. This extra overclock allowed me to achieve an extra 3000 marks in Aquamark 3.
I also found that the fan, even while running at full speed was inaudible under my other case fans. It was also only just audible when all other fans (apart from the CPU cooler) were turned off, so this cooler is a great choice for those that like a quiet case.
