Testing
To test this cooler I left my pc running for 30 minutes at idle and then tested the core temperature of the core of the card and then ran several tests putting the card at full load and then rechecked the temperature. I then compared these results to the stock x1900 cooler to see what the difference was. I also compared the two coolers in terms of volume and in how they effected the cards overclockability.
Stock Cooler
| Idle | 40 |
| Load | 75 |
Jetart VC2600
| Idle | 35 |
| Load | 60 |
The VC2600 is the clear winner here, beating the Stock cooler on Idle temperatures and on Load temperatures.
Noise
This is where the VC2600 really shows its worth. It is claimed on the packaging that this cooler is "Totally Silent". Never has more truth been said in a single statement. Turning off all other fans in my case, this fan was completely inaudible. No noise whatsoever. Compare this to the stock cooler where I was able to hear the fan even with headphones on, and we have a clear winner.
Overclockability
With the stock cooler I was able to overclock the core by 70mhz, and the memory by 100mhz. With the Jetart cooler I was able to add an extra 10mhz to the core, and an extra 50mhz to the memory. Another clear win for the Jetart camp.
