For whatever reason, the Ultras refused to pass even a single run through of 3Dmark03, so no data was taken for that result.

Interestingly, apart from in 3Dmark06, having two Ultras in SLI made almost no difference to the benchmark scores at all with the single Ultra mere single digits away from matching their score. The 2900 XT even jumps ahead in some benchmarks. This backs up the claim that these cards are extremely CPU limited at these resolutions. Gaming at super high resolutions would see less of a bottleneck as the GPUs have more to do.
To test a bit further the affect of CPU bottle necking, I overclocked the CPU upto 3.6ghz and did another run of 3Dmark06. The score was 14,136 which is quite a substantial increase considering the benchmarking program used is generally affected more by change in GPU speeds.
