Noise and Cooling

Cooling of the card wasn't too bad. I don't think it went above 70 degrees throughout all the tests. Still, the reason for that was the powerful fan attached to this card; dear god it's noisy. At least twice as loud as all of the case fans put together, if not more. This card is not designed for a silent PC in any way.

Cost

The 2900xt comes in at anywhere between £230 and £270 depending where you buy it from. If we take the average price at £250, it's a little bit less than an 8800GTS 640mb and a little more than a GTS 320mb.

Conclusion

In terms of cost & performance this card is a great buy; It's also got the best bundle I have ever seen with a card. However it is also the noisiest card I have ever heard, and that really lets this card down. Still, if you want good performance for a good price, then this card is a nice choice but prepare to have your ear drums assaulted.

Pros Cons
Looks good Very noisy
Good "bang for buck"
Great bundled games and software

I'd like to thank Sapphire for providing us with this graphics card.
