Box and Bundle
The Vapor-X 4850 arrives in a cleanly styled cardboard box. Instead of it having a hardcore warrior theme – which is the case on most graphics card boxes – the Sapphire has an unusual penguin scheme. I guess the concept of this design is based around the Vapor-X technology.
Adorned on the front of the box are some key features and stickers which advertise software included with the graphics card.
Moving to the rear of the box a collection of its features is explained in more depth and a paragraph on the product highlights is evident.
Opening the box up reveals a minimalist approach to packaging – I guess this is Sapphire doing ‘their bit’ to become eco-friendly. However, everything is still well protected from any ruthless delivery person.
Included with the Sapphire Vapor-X 4850 are the following accessories:
- 3D Mark Vantage
- Cyberlink PowerDVD and DVD Suite
- Ruby ROM Volume 2
- Driver CD
- User’s Manual
- Crossfire bridge
- Molex to 6-pin PCI-E power adapter
For a mid-range graphics card, the collection of accessories provided with this card is quite impressive. It’s a shame there are no free games included though.
