XFX 9800GX2
Although it sounds pretty impressive to tack two cards together to create one monster, the 9800GX2 is actually pretty boring to look at. We can forgive XFX on this one though, as since not much time has elapsed since the card's official release, nVidia won't be letting them modify things too much yet.
Like most high end cards, this one is dominated by it's large shroud which is designed to guide airflow from the front of the card, across the internal heatsinks and out the back of the case. It features a large 9 series sticker with the new robotic 9 and some small "Geforce" and "9800 GX2" text.
The other side simply shows the XFX logo and the spikey pipe things.
On either side of the 9800GX2's front end is a heavily grilled section. This allows air to pulled from either side by the internal fan before being used to cool this beast.
At the back there are twin black DVI ports, and a single HDMI connector. There's also a grilled area near the base to allow the hot air to exhaust out the rear.
For power, this bad boy requires one 6pin connector, and a single 8pin. This is fine for those planning to use just one of these, but anyone who wants to run a Quad SLI setup like us will not only need plenty of wattage, but they'll also need to make sure they have all the right connectors.
