Conclusion

After spending a couple of days testing the GTX, it became clear that it's very similar to previous high end nVidia cards. While it's performance is great, it's "bang for buck" is far removed from the mid-range offerings; in this case the 4850. Because of this, all I can do is conclude what's been said before about the top end performance GPUs, if you want the absolute highest end performance (from nVidia) then the GTX 280 is a great choice, just be prepared to pay for it, and don't expect anything too quiet.

Pros Cons
Great performance Expensive
Looks good for a top end card Reasonably loud
Overclocks well Boring, blocky look
Good shroud sticker art
