Box & Bundle
There’s a lot going on with the packaging for the GTX 285, the usual orange and black Zotac theme is employed along with dragon breathing out icy-blue fames. A small cut-out gives view of the GPU water block partially covered with a Race Driver: GRID sticker, the game being bundled with the card.
A number of badges and images all of the front give extra information such as the extended warranty, 1024MB of GDDR3 memory with a 512-bit memory interface. Of course the card is also SLI ready.
The back as expected is far more factual giving a short blurb on the product as well as describing the Nvidia SLI technology and what is required for it. Multi-lingual features are included with a row of recycling badges finishing off the bottom.
Quite a number of accessories are bundled with the GTX 285 Infinity:
- DVI to HDMI adapter
- S/PDIF audio input cable
- DVI to VGA adapter
- 2 Dual Molex to PCI-e power adapters
- Race Driver: GRID
- 3Dmark Vantage CD
- Driver CD
- Manuals
Zotac often like to include a game title to sweeten the deal and in this instance Race Driver: GRID is the chosen title; not a bad choice it would seem with quite a bit of hype surrounding the game as one of the better driver games out there.
The partnership between Futuremark and Zotac is once again present too with the inclusion of 3Dmark Vantage – a great program for benchmarking your graphics card that follows on from the highly successful 3Dmark 06.
