Energy Sistem xplosionn

Any music fan or anyone serious about their gaming will tell you that a decent set of headphones are an absolute necessity. Today I'm looking at the Xplosionn 5500, and at first glance it looks like a set of over the ear style headphones, with an added LCD for some strange reason. Looking closer though you'll find that it is in fact an mp3 player built into a set of headphones, so let's find out ...

The V2 should be able to put all this right as well as a few other bits and pieces. So can the Siberia headset be transformed ...

Roccat Vire

Traditionally a headset is basically a large pair of earmuffs which have speakers in the ears and lots of padding for comfort. Roccat are clearly very good in this field with their recently released Kave 5.1 which was definitely given the thumbs up. However, a second ‘headset’ was launched by Roccat but it’s not what you might think; instead the Roccat Vire is a pair of in-ear headphones that ...

Roccat Kave

Roccat have graced us with some of their fantastic peripherals in the past, with their Kone mouse still holding it's place as our favourite gaming rodent of all time. Today, we've been sent over their latest headset, the Kave. It sports 5.1 surround sound, hand sewn noise cancelling ear cups, and an adjustable vibration unit. The remote is also something quite interesting, so let's give it a ...

Raptor LH1

We have had quite a lot of headset reviews recently on XSReviews and the latest arrival trying to stake a claim at being a great product is the Raptor-Gaming LH1. Typically, Raptor-Gaming manufactures expensive high end peripherals that have a very good reputation. Here today though, we have more of a budget headset but will it be able to maintain the high quality at a lower price? Only one way ...

Icemat Siberia Headset

We’ve reviewed pretty much the entire SteelSeries line of headsets, and the In:Ears of their subsidiary; Icemat. However, today I have the full Siberia headset which was brought to relative fame by Basshunter with his DOTA ditty. Let’s see if they are ready to be endorsed by XSReviews as well…

Steelpads' SteelSound 5h

Steelpads' SteelSound 5h

Throughout my years as a PC user I was never particularly bothered with the quality of the speakers/headsets I used while sat in front of the screen. I was never bothered that the beige, ugly speakers I had scavenged from a closing down PC store, would crackle and the first hint of bass. This was never a big deal to me as I knew no better; that was until my friend decided to upgrade himself to a ...
