The packaging suffers from that increasingly popular trait of giving everything a huge box so it's more eye catching on the store shelves, meaning at least 2/3 of this package is just space. When you do get it open though, inside you will find the device, a USB data transfer lead and a line input 3.5mm jack stereo lead along with the manual.

As the device uses SD / MMC card for its storage the inclusion of even a small card would have been a good idea, as this seems to be aimed at extremely entry level users there is a reasonable chance that they wouldn’t have a spare card laying about they could use.
