Conclusion
The age old question of whether laptop coolers are really worth it for their cooling performance has yet again not been answered by this product. The minimal temperature drops are good but nothing to jump up and down about.
However, Glacialtech have made the X-Wing much more than just a cooler with the great touchable panel. The media keys, temperature/fan speed adjustment keys are a brilliant idea and give this product something extra that no other laptop cooler has.
Even, if the cooling isn’t that good, the added comfort and functionality of using the X-Wing should be enough to persuade you that this is a high quality product at a reasonable price too.
