Conclusion
80mm fans are slowly leaving the market place for PC’s thanks to the low noise and high output of larger fans. However, if you are looking for the perfect smaller fan for your Shuttle PC, or media centre, the Noctua NF-R8 does a sterling job.
This fan will last you a while with its innovative bearing type and highly researched blade geometry. The NF-R8 is a solid buy.
