Conclusion
As you can tell by this review, the Scythe Bay Rafter certainly works in converting a standard 5.25” bay into a 3.5” bay for a hard drive. Moreover, it works in allowing a fan of your choice to be installed to the underside to lower your HDD temperature by a couple of degrees.
Although it didn’t decrease out hard drive’s temperature by a huge amount, the Bay Rafter still serves its primary purpose of providing additional mounts for a hard drive in a system. For this reason, I’m going to award it an 7/10 even if it is a tad expensive for a bit of plastic and there’s no fan screws included.

| Easy to install | Costs a bit too much |
| Converts drive size | No fan screws included |
