Conclusion

The Scythe Gentle Typhoon 2150RPM 92mm fan, despite not being quite the best in testing, has still impressed me considerably. The temperatures are pretty consistent but it’s the noise that is most impressive as even without any anti-vibration mounts it’s virtually impossible to hear it – very good indeed.

The price too is reasonable and much lower than many competitors. It’s only a shame that it doesn’t look better – the black and grey is very mundane.
Sadly, the 92mm fan is a dying brand but if you are looking for one and a quiet one at that – you will do well to find a better product at the same price.

Pros Cons
Very quiet Looks boring
Solid cooling 92mm size not very popular
Good price point
