Box ‘n bundle
The Xthermal arrives in a thin vacuum formed package with a piece of card keeping it rigid. It’s held secure to the card backing by a piece of tape at the top, this falls off very easily releasing the fan and all its accessories. The front of the packaging is styled in a unique design which aesthetically, looks pretty cool. A brightly coloured oval is shown in the upper right-hand corner with the rather silent 9dB/A being boasted about inside. Xthermal’s logo looks remarkably similar to our logo though, but remember, “great minds think alike.”
The back of the package is much more informative than the front. Bullet pointed are the specifications and the accessories which are included with the BTF120PRO LED. Below are the features listed in 4 different languages – with a flag indicating each translation (English, German, Russian and Polish).
Opening the box up reveals the fan, four anti-vibration pegs, a 3-pin to Molex adapter and a 9dB/A adapter - which effectively just lowers the voltage. Unfortunately our 9dB/A adapter was missing from the package.
