The Kustom PC Premium Lapping Kit is surprisingly effective at what it does. Granted your mileage will vary depending on your skill and heatsink, but it wouldn’t be wrong to expect your CPU to be a couple of degrees cooler after your sanding is complete.

Thanks to the instruction sheet, and even the supplied heatpaste, this kit contains everything that you’ll need to shine your core and replace your heatsink.
