Installation

Installation is simple; all you have to do is plug in the tuner, chuck in the driver CD and click ‘Driver Installation’ on the autoplay window that pops up. After clicking next a couple of times, you are all done.

If you use Windows Media Center, then it’s a trivial trip through a couple of set up windows to choose the Digi Vox as your TV tuner. Once this is done you can sit back and watch your favourite soap, although the remote won’t work with MCE.

If you don’t have MCE then you can install the included ArcSoft Total Media package which not only enables you to watch TV, but you’ll also be able to use the remote.

Once Total Media is installed, a setup window will pop up which asks you with tuner you want to use. Now you’ll have to scan for channels in your area; this takes a while so it’s a good idea to nip off for a quick cuppa while it’s doing its thing.
