Conclusion
Unfortunately, while the Mako kit is quite possibly the best PC sound setup I have ever heard, it's hard to recommend with such a high price tag. This is a shame as it ticks every box: Looks, awesome, sound quality, unrivaled, funky volume control, check, interesting features, check.
The Mako from THX and Razer is fundamentally, fantastic. It's excellent in every sense but the price. If you can afford the setup, or find it cheaply second hand, grab it quickly... before someone else does.
