Conclusion
To say that this panel is a must-have accessory wouldn’t be telling the truth. However, there are some useful functions that it allows. For example, as I mentioned earlier being able to transfer data directly from a wide variety of memory cards. Moreover, it allows you to transfer larger quantities of information using bigger and different storage devices that previously could not be connected up to your PC.Finally, the fan controllers and extra USB ports are another nice touch in order to allow more USB related devices to be attached at the same time and just give more space to your front panel connections.
Unfortunately, the price point does let the panel down somewhat as £20 seems a little overpriced. Another point of disappointment is the mass of cables emitted from the back of the Kama panel which literally clog up the internals – cable management becomes an issue.
When it comes down to it, if you are looking for easy ways to transfer data to and from your PC and want a small panel that will suit almost any case, the Scythe Kama Panel 3.5 is worth a look; just be aware of the slightly inflated price.
