Noise

Noise wise the HX620 excels again as it is near silent while in operation and would be a welcome addition to any silence enthusiast's setup. However, in some instances it does have a very faint whine at the back which does detract from its noise rating; but in general, quiet as a mouse.

Cost

Price wise is unfortunately where this PSU falls down as it comes in at a weighty £100 at most retailers. This is pretty expensive for a "mere" 620w. However this does power hardware that our recently reviewed 1200w Thermaltake Toughpower wasn't able to so it would seem that wattage is relative in the marketing game.
