Conclusion
For all intents and purposes, this unit is the worst out of the three. But, and it is a big but, the differences are microscopic. For example, even though this unit is less efficient that the other two, it’s a tiny difference, and the same goes for the rails.
The only part of the unit that is an issue is the electrical whirring that I witnessed during the test phase of the unit.
As with the other two PSU’s, to be 1000W seems unneeded even with two 8800 Ultra’s. They managed to pull a maximum of 400W at full load, and it seems that manufacturers are relying on the fact that quadruple digit wattages are better in the consumer’s eyes. As a result, it seems a massive oversight not to include enough PCI-e sockets to run more graphics cards that would be able to use more of the Absolute's potential.
Of the three units, the Jeantech Absolute’s modular design has obviously been thought out well, and is the best of the bunch in that aspect; as is the cable braiding. The only downside is the electrical whirring at full load, and other than this, it’s a more than respectable power supply.
| Pros | Cons |
| Well thought-out modular design | Needs more PCI-e connectors |
| High maximum wattage | Electrical whirring |
