Noise

The noise output of the GameXStream comes in two forms, idle and load. While the PC is at idle the PSU is wonderfully quiet, however as soon as you start stressing the PC a little it emits a whining noise and as its fan spins up it becomes about as loud as the average case fan; not horrendous but not good either.

The reason the fan spins faster under load is because it is thermally controlled which is a good thing in terms of keeping the unit cool, but not good in terms of noise.

Cost

The OCZ GameXStream can be found for around £160 which isn't a bad deal for a PSU of this wattage.
