OCZ GameXstream 700w
The PSU itself is matt charcoal colour with black styling on the screws and grills.
Atop it is a large, clear, 120mm fan with the OCZ Technology logo in it's centre.
To the side is the usual block of specifications, along with some stickers that inform you what quality checks the unit has passed in order to be sold.
The entire rear is taken up by a large honeycomb grill which is designed to aid in the transfer of heat away from the internal components. Honeycomb grill structure is the most efficient setup for heat transfer, to read why, check out our glossary entry on grill shapes here.
A little styling feature to take note of here. Next to the power socket the power switch is blue with a LED behind it.
The front of the unit has some vents to add a little more airflow to some of the copper coils.
The cabling which originates from the front of the PSU, is coated in a nice black braid. This not only looks good, but also helps with cable management as it allows you to squeeze the cables into smaller spaces without risk of catching them on sharp bits of case panel.
The GameXstream features quick release molex cables which is nice to see. This allows for quick and easy removal of molex connectors from hard disk or optical drives when in small spaces.
In terms of actual cabling, there are two 6pin PCI-E cables and a 4pin+4 motherboard cable.
An extra 2 6pin PCI-E cables would be nice.
