Conclusion

The Tuniq Potency 650 is a very simplistic, yet effective, power supply. The first impressions are not good as the unit doesn’t really have any style or features that make it stand out from other products on the market. However, once you hook it up to the rig, the quality of the Potency shines through with tight 3.3V and 5V rails; the 12V is a little further out but non-the-less it’s a solidly performing unit.

Cost, is often the weakness to many power supplies, but the Potency does well here too. In regards to looks though, while some might like a solid colour unit, I like something a bit more flamboyant with a little flair. Hopefully we'll see this in future units from Tuniq.

So there we have it, the Tuniq Potency 650 – not the worst, not the best but worth a look.

Pros Cons
Near silent Non-modular
Tight 3.3V and 5V Rails No Style
Stable Quite Heavy
