Conclusion
DDR2 is still being used by many enthusiasts as the price jump to DDR3 is still relatively big. For £75, these memory modules certainly have plenty of bang for buck: they overclock well, look great and are from a leading memory manufacturer.
Although 32bit operating systems don’t support more than 3.2GB at the current point in time, you're still able to use the majority of your kit should you go the route we chose. That said, 64bit operating systems are becoming easier to use, with many of their problems being ironed out, so going 64bit to utilize that extra 0.8gb is a much more attractive option than it used to be.
